Abstract

Noun with second-doubled root is mainly a tri -radicals noun which one of its consonants, the second one mostly, is omitted in writing, but is compensated by doubling the consonant following it. This doubling can be noticed when the third consonant is voweled in certain cases, and it disappears when the third consonant loses its vowel also in different certain cases.
This phonetical change, and many other changes which occur on different levels like consonants, vowels and stress, is caused by morphological affixes added to the noun to denote mostly its syntactic role in the sentence.
In some cases, the hidden letter can appear in some inflections, such as plural and diminutive, but it only takes place with very few nouns.
